Random short musings (again)

I really want to see Scott Pilgrim vs the World -mainly so I can snigger at Chris Evans' eyebrows, admittedly- however Mrs Rascal is less keen and thinks it might be "silly".
Actually I really wanted to see the new Piranha film, but obviously that will be "silly", so there's even less chance of us seeing that.

"hey baby, check out my eyebrows of doom"

Isn't it a bit strange that Wyclef Jean is recieving death threats for being bold enough to run for president of Haiti? From what I can make out, he only wants to do some good things for his country.

"what? kill me? mais non!"

There's very little mainstream coverage of the Pakistan floods considering the number of people affected is the same as those hit by the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004, the Kashmiri earthquake of 2005 and the Haitian earthquake of earlier this year combined. I wonder why.......

Cheap balsamic vinegar isn't very nice. Sorry, it just isn't-you really get what you pay for with this stuff.

I agree about the balsamic vinegar. One should eat the good stuff! ^.^

And I don't know about the floods, either. We in the States like celebrity drama more than actual news. I was even watching the evening news one night when the story about the flight attendant came out. After the report, one of the broadcasters *actually* said "And now let's get to the real news..."

I don't like celebrity drama and that's putting it mildly. If I'm watching the news I'd like to see what's going on in the world, not which non entity is bumping uglies with another. Sadly I appear to be vastly in the minority.

Yeah, us yanks are more concerned about Lindsey Lohan spending three day in jail and Mel Gibon's rants than floods in Pakistan.

I mean, I am not that shallow. I don't are care about anything equally.

Interesting musings. I agree about the news for these fllod, very quiet and the fund raising is very low too.

I take it you are not a fan of heat mag? I had the misfortune of reading it in the hairdresser, staring in the mirror might have been a better option. How much do people meed to know about Jordan, Peter, Kerry Catatonia and Charlotte Church. I'd rather find out abou the lives of real people around the world.
